Foreclosure Filings in Chicago's New Communities Neighborhoods
Published: January 4, 2011
LISC MetroEdge has conducted an analysis of foreclosure filings in the City of Chicago. A complete analysis of 2009 and 2010 foreclosure filing activities has been completed.
The data used to produce this analysis comes from Record Information Services (RIS). Monthly maps have been created showing foreclosure filings for each of Chicago's New Communities Program (NCP) areas. In addition, supporting tables for each NCP area are provided displaying data on property type, original mortgage amount, type of mortgage, and the median income of the census tract where the foreclosure was filed.
